What an incredible first day! We successfully blasted through our initial goal and reaching $25,000 in less than 24 hours! Because of YOU, our loyal backers we are trending towards the most raised magnetic quick release campaign on Kickstarter! THANK YOU!!! We know it is a bit early to make this claim right now, but we set it as a goal in our minds to keep us optimistic and motivated to continue to deliver exceptional products to you.

$25,000 Stretch Goal, Achieved! 👏

Now that is what we call a "quick release"! Every MQR will now come pre-installed with Green Glow-in-the-Dark vials!

So will there be new milestones or stretch goals? We aren't sure just yet but we do want to address some of the most frequently asked questions first. We have been reading the comments and getting several messages about issues while pledging with ADD-ONS and/or how to pledge on multiple rewards. So let's talk about it.

Add-Ons on Kickstarter ✔️

Kickstarter recently released the option for backers to purchase ADD-ONS within their platform. Typically, we have only offered ADD-ONS on BackerKit. Although we are still using BackerKit to manage our post-campaign ADD-ONS, we thought we'd give the new Kickstarter feature a test run. It appears that some backers were having issues and reported it to us early on so what we did was went ahead and removed the single pack Glow-in-the-Dark vial options (there were three), but left just one option which was the $5 for ALL three vials package. The issue seems to have went away and we see successful pledges with the vials add-on coming through smoothly now.

But if anyone is still having trouble with selecting the $5 ALL three vials Add-On, we kindly ask to pledge without Add-Ons for now and hang tight until the end of the campaign when we send out BackerKit invitations. Our BackerKit will have not only the vials but many other ADD-ON products to choose from.

How can I mix and match MQRs or purchase multiple rewards? 🧲

So you've pledged on some Black Aluminum MQRs and now you want to add a bunch of Titanium MQRs, or vice versa, to your order? We gotchu!

You will be able to do this through BackerKit. Basically, we are going to make every pledge reward level available as an ADD-ON on BackerKit. When we send out BackerKit invitations (this is after Kickstarter is done collecting payments and releases the funds to us, typically 10 to 15 days after the campaign end date), you will be asked to answer a few questions, provide us your shipping address, and you will be presented with a plethora of other ZEROHOUR products that are available as ADD-ONS to ship together with your reward. It works a lot like any online store that takes pre-orders.

However, there is one caveat with purchasing ADD-ONS from our BackerKit store; We are only going to accept PayPal payments on there 💳. We understand for some of you, PayPal is not an option 🙅‍♂️🙅‍ so there is one other way you can purchase multiple rewards (a work-around).

You can increase your pledge amount using Bonus support

The following instructions are to avoid having to use PayPal AND if you do not plan on purchasing other ADD-ONS that are going to be on BackerKit later on.

Let's say you pledged on the Quintuple Matte Black Aluminum MQR (5 × Matte Black Aluminum MQR) $40 reward level but you also want to pledge on the Quintuple Stonewashed Titanium MQR (5 × Stonewashed Titanium MQR) $90 reward level. Since Kickstarter currently does not allow pledging on multiple rewards from one account, we have an unofficial work-around:

When you go to select your reward level, you will see a part that says "Bonus support (A little extra to help bring this project to life)" and it asks you to enter in an amount. This is where you can put in an extra $90 which covers the cost of the additional Stonewashed Titanium MQRs reward level that you wanted. You will then see a new total amount of around $135 (USA backers) or around $140 (International backers). 

Go ahead and complete your pledge for that new amount.

But what if you already made a pledge? No worries, you can go update your pledge at any time before the end of the campaign because Kickstarter hasn't actually charged your card yet. So now at the end of the campaign and after Kickstarter charges you for your new pledge amount, BackerKit will see that you pledged an extra $90 Bonus amount. It will then apply that bonus amount to your BackerKit cart as a "store credit". Once inside your BackerKit you will then look for the $90 Quintuple Stonewashed Titanium MQR ADD-ON and purchase it using that credit. You will then complete your BackerKit Survey like normal and you're all set. You shouldn't have to add any additional funds unless you decide to purchase other ADD-ONS on BackerKit. 👍 

Ultimately, we prefer backers to wait for the BackerKit invitations and use the PayPal Checkout method to avoid having to edit your pledge now, but we wanted to let you know that we have seen success with this method on other projects including our own in the past.
